Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel is a sweeping American musical about love, community, and the longing to belong. Set in a seaside town, it follows Julie Jordan and the complicated, passionate Billy Bigelow as their choices ripple across a lifetime – and into the next generation.
Our production centers the strength of community, the courage to tell the truth, the importance of accountability, and the possibility of breaking harmful cycles. With one of the most soaring scores in musical theatre history, Carousel invites us to imagine a world where love is measured not by endurance, but by care.
