Faculty Recital: Kimberly Prins Moeller, voice and Sharon Johnson, piano

Dr. Kimberly Prins Moeller and Dr. Sharon Johnson present Juliana Hall’s “Songs of Enchantment,” a whimsical colorful cycle Dr. Johnson studied and premiered as part of her doctoral research. The program also includes a work from the just-released inaugural North American Indigenous Songbook, “Tádídíín Béé atiin” (“Corn Pollen Road”) by Navajo composer Connor Chee, Alban Berg’s Sieben Frühe Lieder (Seven Early Songs), and a selection from Jules Massenet’s operatic telling of Cinderella, Cendrillon.
