The Katherine W. Lindley Center for Law and Constitutional Studies will be hosting our Constitution Day on Tuesday, October 15 at 7pm in Lib323. We will welcome Jonathan W. White, professor of history at Christopher Newport University and winner of the 2023 Lincoln Prize for his book A House Built by Slaves: African American Visitors to the Lincoln White House. Dr. White will give a talk on his new research project, entitled “Leadership in Perilous Times: Abraham Lincoln and the Pardon Power.”
